Hello and welcome to Cultivation Counselling, a Melbourne-based relationship counselling service.
I am Bree Baxter, a counsellor, educator, and relationship specialist on a mission to remove the stigma and hesitation around couples seeking relationship support.
Life is filled with obstacles that constantly challenge and transform us, impacting our relationships in different ways.
My work is to help couples realise their relationships can continue to grow and evolve through these struggles, providing a safe, supportive, and loving foundation through life's varying stages.
I provide focused relationship counselling sessions as well as workshops and relationship education.

Me, We, Us is a relationship programme for couples preparing for parenthood. It supports stronger communication, deeper understanding, and lasting connection through one of life’s biggest transitions. By caring for the individual, the relationship, and the family unit, it helps couples build a healthier foundation for family life together.
Relationship counselling helps couples address underlying issues, improve communication, rebuild unity, and understand each other's perspectives, ultimately strengthening their bond amidst the challenges of parenting and busy lifestyles.
Individual counselling offers a private, safe space to explore personal issues. It provides support, promotes growth, enhances self-understanding, sets goals, and facilitates desired changes. Counselling addresses various life topics like stress, anger, depression, anxiety, grief, and transitions.
Professional counselling supervision provides confidential spaces where clinicians can pause, reflect, and strengthen their practice
Sarah and John came seeking relationship counselling feeling disconnected and in a continuing cycle of bickering conflict. They were watching TV in separate rooms, they had no idea what was happening in each of their lives outside of their relationship and had a general feeling of being roommates........
David and Vanessa came to relationship counselling after Vanessa disclosed to David she had kissed another man at a friend's birthday drinks. David was shocked and couldn’t understand where this development had come from......
Jane came for individual counselling sessions after the difficult breakdown of her 30-year relationship. Upon embarking on a new relationship Jane was experiencing flashbacks, hypervigilance and anxiety.....
Me, We, Us is a relationship programme designed to support couples through one of the biggest transitions in life: the journey into parenthood. While so much attention is given to preparing for the baby, very little support is offered for the relationship that sits at the centre of family life. This programme was created to help change that.
Wellness workshops aim to enhance personal self-care, self-awareness, emotional processing, and resilience. These workshops incorporate a range of holistic therapies including art therapy and mindfulness techniques. Melbourne based and online.
